my latest computer tech split town and left me hanging out to dry. both
computers are amd 450 with 30 gig western didgital drives( sorry cant
spell) both systems run xp and worked fine just wanted new cases a power
supplys moved motherboards and hardware with no problems bios see's
harddrive but no boot sector found.fdisk say's okay fat 32 100 percent drive
there. put system back in old case works fine! call a friend he tells me
there are no jumpers on either drive i swear there were none even cobb webbs
and dust no shiny pins any ideas? my friend has tried to put a jumper on ide
master single ribbon and a second ribbon for cd-rom.... master and slave
dont work... take jumper off works only in old unit ! ~thankyou
